SGT. Cory Wride Memorial Match & Dinner
In memory of Utah County Sheriff's Office's Sgt. Cory Wride, who was killed in the line of duty on January 30th, 2014, Action Target proudly hosts the annual Sgt. Cory Wride Memorial Match Shoot. This year's match takes place on Range 9 on Wednesday evening of LETC 2026, starting at 5:00 PM.

Each year, this competition tests the accuracy, speed, movement, and reload tactics of officers on the same stage. The winner is the shooter who clears all targets in the shortest time - additional rules will be determined at the time of the match. Course layout and complete rules will be available just before the competition begins.

Join us before the match for a catered dinner - a great opportunity to unwind with fellow attendees before the competition begins. This is one of the most anticipated events of the week - don't miss your chance to compete and walk away with the prize.

All participants who compete will be entered into a raffle to win, with additional prizes awarded for first and second place.

Equipment: All firearms used in the competition should be considered duty weapons. Come prepared with the following:
  • Duty pistol, holster, and three magazines
  • 50 rounds of pistol ammunition
  • 30 rounds of rifle ammunition

Prize: Last year, Action Target and Aero Precision gifted the winner an Aero Precision M4E1. While this year's prize is yet to be determined, it will be of similar value to last year and previous years.
