Rick Crawley brings extensive experience from both the US Military and US Law Enforcement, having served in specialized units. His teaching approach is process-focused, contrasting with the often ineffective outcome-focused methods. Rick has over a decade of experience training all over the world, developing a refined curriculum that has successfully enhanced the accountability of thousands of firearm users.
After an honorable separation from the Marine Corps and a dynamic career in law enforcement, Rick Crawley founded Achilles Heel Tactical in 2017. His journey laid the foundation for AHT - spanning three deployments in support of OEF, roles as a Squad Leader and Scout Sniper Team Leader, and critical involvement in law enforcement as an OPOTA LE Firearms Instructor, SWAT team member, and Patrolman. Through a blend of firsthand experience, ongoing studies, and professional development, Rick dedicates himself to the highest standards of instruction.
