Training Course Overview
A low-light tactics course covering two- and three-man team techniques, light discipline, and structure-based scenarios inside the Action Target Match Shoot House - giving officers the tools to maintain a tactical advantage in diminished lighting conditions.

Course Description
This course prepares officers to operate confidently and effectively in low-light environments, with a focus on two- and three-man tactics that are directly applicable to real-world patrol and response situations. Training takes place inside the Action Target Match Shoot House, giving officers a realistic, immersive environment to develop and apply their skills. Officers will work through scenarios designed around confronting subjects within a structure - learning how to maintain a tactical advantage while moving toward custody in low-light conditions. A strong emphasis is placed on the use and discipline of light, including the strategic advantages of carrying both a high-power weapons light and a handheld light, and how to leverage each effectively during an engagement.

Beyond the range, attendees will also participate in a discussion on low-light training standards and legal requirements - equipping officers not just with personal skills, but with the knowledge to bring a robust low-light training program back to their agency.

Officers will leave this course with sharper low-light tactics, a deeper understanding of light discipline and gear selection, and the framework to elevate their agency's approach to low-light training and preparedness.
